Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

If you require further assistance for any question beyond those listed here, please contact us.

  1. Q: "Does CAP provide benefit insurance for association employees or members?"
    A: Yes, contact us
     for more information.

  2. Q: "Our insurance requirements have a high degree of complexity, are you equipped to assist us?"
    A: Yes, contact us
     for more information.

  3. Q: "Can I get a customized quotation?"
    A: Yes, contact us
     for more information.

  4. Q: "Does CAP provide liability/commercial/general etc. insurance for association members?"
    A: Yes, contact us
     for more information.

  5. Q: "Can we lower the policy limits and lower our annual premium?"
A: No. The CAP policy offers limits of insurance that our underwriters believe are the minimum levels your organization needs to protect your interests (you can purchase higher limits). If the amount of insurance needed (as per your application) exceeds the policy minimums, the increased insurance limits would be reflected in your quotation and final insurance documentation.

  6. Q: "Our insurance requirements are complex and require an ongoing level of dedicated service. Can CAP respond to our needs?"
A: Generally speaking yes. But we would ask that you
contact us to review your specific requirements so that we can give you a definitive answer.

  7. Q: "I can't remember my User Name and/or Password."
    A: Please contact us
and we will be happy to help you.

  8. Q: "Must I use a local insurance broker in order to purchase the CAP program for my organization?"
A: A local broker is better positioned to provide local service, if that is an issue for your organization. Your organization's CAP premium is exactly the same, whether you use a local broker or not. But the decision is entirely yours. If you do not wish to employ the services of a local broker, simply leave the Broker Information section in the Insurance Application Form blank. Note: In various provinces you must use a local broker.
